During our April 11, 2021, Business Meeting the majority of members, in attendance, voted to return to normal services, i.e., lifting the mandate for wearing masks, reinstating congregation singing; offering collection; coffee available before services; etc. Therefore, effective May 2, 2021, Open Door Baptist Church returned to our pre-COVID order of services.
We anticipate each attendee will use their best judgement in how they interact with others and always feel confident that their decision will be respected by all.

For everyone’s protection, if anyone has a persistent cough or sneezing, we will gracefully ask you to leave. We pray you understand our position of ensuring we are doing everything within our power to protect everyone so we can continue to conduct our services in person.

COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By attending Open Door Baptist Church of Tampa, Inc. (the “Ministry”), you agree to abide by the procedures established by the church to protect attendees and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you and/or your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either at the church, in the church worship service, or in the nursery or Sunday School. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation for you and your family, and you waive any liability against the church and any other parties.
